In this page, we will progressively distribute technical documentation about the essential technical achievements of the Project, in order to collect feedback and share the results at the base of the PHAROS Platform with the Research Community and the Industry.

• AV-RSS : Really Simple Syndication Format for Audio Visual Contents: AV-RSS is a new syndication protocol based on the publish-subscribe paradigm, that explicitly addresses the peculiarities of audiovisual contents. Users (or context/community -specific search engines) can subscribe to queries and get updates on the available resources.
•  Pharos Platform: The main deliverable of the Pharos Project is an open and extensible platform for building search oriented applications.
• Showcase and demonstrators: a set of demonstrators, incuding a comprehensive showcase, have been developed for demonstration and validation purposes. Some videos of the demonstrators are available here. An online prototype of the demonstrator is available for PHAROS Federation Members.
