Pharos Participation to Major Events

IBC. Amsterdam, September 15, 2009

Pharos will participate at IBC 2009 (http://www.ibc.org/) in Amsterdam - the Content Creation Management Delivery Experience. IBC is the major IT event in the broadcasting and audiovisual field and gathers around 50,000 participants each year.

A Pharos representative will be available on September 15th at booth 8.B93  (hosted by Mantrics) for demonstration, discussions, and feedback collection.

ICT. Lyon, November 25-27, 2008

Pharos will be demonstrating its architecture at ICT 2008, the bigger European exhibit and conference event on IT research projects.

Stand Description

The materials that will be available at the stand include:

  • 3 posters with eye-catching, general-purpose, informative contents about the project (A0 size, printed on PVC and reusable)

  • 1 banner with the Pharos logo and payoff (2 meters long, printed on PVC and reusable)
  • 2 LCD 19" screens for a continuous presentation on the PHAROS main aspects
  • 2 laptop PCs for demonstration purposes
  • 1 laptop PC for copying the PDF materials on the USB sticks of visitors
  • 1 smartphone for demonstration of mobile search interfaces

Communication Materials

The Communication Materials distributed at the stand include:

  • a Pharos project folder
  • a 6-side Pharos brochure
  • a set of detailed sheets on: partner descriptions, architecture descriptions, federation presentation and request form, training activities description (i.e., summer school)
  • the project T-Shirt
  • a ZIP file containing the PDF version of all the communication materials provided on paper
